We are specialist in transferring old video and audio cassettes to DVD and can handle a wide range of older formats. Additional services include editing videos and creating photo montages with music and titles, changing audio cassettes or vinyl LPs to CD-R and more. All work is done in our lab in Deerfield, Illinois where we have been in business for over 30 years. Customers can feel comfortable leaving their valuable videos and audiotapes with us to be transferred because the originals are never send elsewhere to be processed.
Video Services
Why do we need to transfer those old videos from the eighties and nineties? The early versions of VHS or Betamax were amazing at the time, but today, the limitations of those aged tape based formats make them unsuitable for long term archiving. Increased risk of tape breakage due to drying of the tape and loss of the magnetic signal over time resulting in fuzzy images, interference, or video noise (snow) in the picture, horizontal tracking lines and audio problems, all contribute to the ongoing degradation of your treasured family videos.
But you don’t need to take that risk. Now is the time to have your family memories transferred to DVD. Your priceless memories will be safe and secure for hundreds of years after they are transferred to digital. Not only will your old tapes be there for future generations, but with our advanced signal processing equipment, they will look better than ever.
Photo & Film Transfer
We scan photos, negatives, slides, documents and more. Image files can be imported into the non-linear editor for montage and other projects. These files can be scanned for simple upload over the internet or at a higher resolution for printing.
Audio Services
We offer professional transfer of audiocassettes to CD-R. The audio level can be processed if needed to improve clarity, reduce static, improve the tone balance, and boost the overall audio level.
